While at the ASTA Conference a few weeks ago I went to a lecture by violinist Jason Anick, who teaches jazz violin at Bostons Berklee College of Music. Besides giving a great lecture on Gypsy Jazz (more about that in another blog), Anick also handed me a copy of the latest album by his group, Rhythm Future Quartet. Great stuff, check it out! Swiss cellist Christoph Croisé performs Haydns two Cello Concertos with the Eurasian Soloists Chamber Orchestra, whose leader Sherniyaz Mussakhan joins him in Vivaldis Concerto for Violin and Cello, RV 547.
