December 16th marks the 100th anniversary of the death of composer Camille Saint-Saëns, and French violinist Guillaume Sutre and harpist Kyunghee Kim-Sutre - a married duo - along with pianist Steven Vanhauwaert, are celebrating the composer with an album of lesser-played works for those three instruments. And what gorgeous works they are - you can listen below. The Fantasie for harp solo and and for harp-violin open the album; followed by three very mazurkas and the Etude en forme the Valse for solo piano. The album finishes with the Elegie Op. 143 and the first Violin Sonata Op. 75. BELOW: Excerpts from the album:
