December 16th marks the 100th anniversary of the death of composer Camille Saint-Saëns, and French violinist Guillaume Sutre and harpist Kyunghee Kim-Sutre - a married duo - along with pianist Steven Vanhauwaert, are celebrating the composer with an album of lesser-played works for those three instruments. And what gorgeous works they are - you can listen below. The Fantasie for harp solo and and for harp-violin open the album; followed by three very mazurkas and the Etude en forme the Valse for solo piano. The album finishes with the Elegie Op. 143 and the first Violin Sonata Op. 75.
