- Northwest Reverb: "Meyers burnished her reputation with a stellar performance of Barbers 'Violin Concerto.' The concertgoers were so taken with her sweet sound during the lush and lovely first movement that they applauded for a long time. The second movement also drew applause and the sustained, quicksilver passages of the third movement brought them to their feet for a vigorous standing ovation."
- Chicago Classical Review: "The sensuous warmth of his lyrical playing, aided by a fast vibrato, was matched by the vivacious energy, rhythmic bite and firm expressive commitment he brought to the more brilliant pages. "
- The Aspen Times: "Especially striking was a long cadenza in the finale that at times seemed to be channeling the Chaconne from Bachs Partita No. 2 for unaccompanied violin. It rose to a frenzied climax before receding into the pieces sigh of a finish. This, of course, was catnip for Shaham, who can make his instrument sing like few others."
- The New York Times: "The 27-year-old violinist Randall Goosby, making his Mostly Mozart debut, was luminous in Tchaikovskys Violin Concerto his tone luscious, elegant and sweet without being syrupy."
- Aspen Times: "Listeners could appreciate the lush melodies of Chaussons Poème, played with silvery precision by Luna Choi, winner of last years vioin competition..."
- New York Classical Review: "At your first violin lesson, the teacher showed you how much bow pressure to use so you didnt make grinding or whistling sounds....the JACK Quartet used all those forbidden sounds and moves to weave subtle, otherworldly imagery in works by the Stuttgart-born master of musique concrète."
- Cincinnati Business Courier: "What a treat it was to hear this rarely heard music so beautifully expressed by the Chamber Orchestra in collaboration with the singers of Collegium Cincinnati. "
