Francesca Dego
Violinist Francesca Dego.
Francesca Dego performed Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3 with the Utah Symphony.
  • Utah Arts Review: "She brought a beautiful cantabile quality to the slow movement and engaging humor to the finale, like someone sharing a funny story at a party."
Augustin Hadelich performed Benjamin Britten's Violin Concerto with the Minnesota Orchestra.
  • Star Tribune: "Not only did it underline that Hadelich is one of the world's great violinists — a deeply passionate and technically impeccable interpreter — but it may have been the most impressive performance the orchestra has offered under Søndergård's leadership."
The Balourdet Quartet performed at Northwestern University's Winter Chamber Music Festival.
  • Evanston RoundTable: "The Balourdet Quartet’s talent and passion were apparent immediately – they are dynamic, kinetic performers, leaning into the music and hopping about in their seats."
The Sitkovetsky Trio performed in in Haslemere at St. Christopher's Church.
  • Alton Herald: "They began with Beethoven’s Ghost Trio. Behind long, cobwebby notes on the strings, the piano waved a bony hand. The violin told of ancient wrongs, while the piano rattled its chains and grumbled eerily in the background. The last movement let the daylight back in, with a cheerful and relaxed, uptempo finale."
