By Laurie Niles: People are shy about asking for help, but they certainly need it right now. I have assembled this list of fundraisers for orchestral musicians, string players and teachers who lost everything in the Los Angeles-area fires, as well as related organizational fundraisers. I have 25+ personal friends alone who have lost homes, possessions, everything. Here is a list of fundraisers I was able to find for classical musicians - I wasn't able to find them all, and every hour I learn about more. Please do not hesitate to share links to other musician fundraisers in the comments. We hope this helps connect those who need help with those who wish to give help.![Joel and Carrie's home after the fire]()
