By Laurie Niles: Happy birthday, yesterday (Feb. 2), to both Jascha Heifetz and Fritz Kreisler, who would have been 116 and 142, respectively.
What a legacy they both left, and how amazing that both of these towering figures of the violin world share a birthday. For this week's vote, I'm going to give you a hypothetical situation. Don't take it too terribly seriously, this is more to get everyone talking about why they love both of these violinists (assuming most of you do!). Here's the scenario:
