Augustin Hadelich, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Frank Peter Zimmermann and Roberto Díaz nominated for 2018 Grammys

By Laurie Niles: Congratulations to violinists Augustin Hadelich, Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Frank Peter Zimmermann, as well as cellist Steven Isserlis, violist Roberto Díaz and composer Jennifer Higdon, who are among the classical musicians nominated for 2017 Grammys! Nominees were announced Tuesday morning by the Recording Academy. Here is a complete list of nominees for the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.
2018 classical Grammy nominees
Kopatchinskaja and Hadelich each were nominated in the "Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance" category; Zimmermann and Isserlis each were nominated in the "Best Classical Instrumental Solo" category; and Roberto Díaz and Jennifer Higdon together were nominated in both the "Best Classical Compendium" and "Best Contemporary Classical Composition" categories, for the following recordings: Of the 84 categories, there are eight designated for Classical Music. The Recording Academy will present the Grammy Awards on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, live from Madison Square Garden in New York and broadcast on the CBS Television Network. You might also like:
